What happens to your pupils' work
Plainly, so you can answer if anyone asks.
What AIM collects
Your email address and password, so you have an account. The text of the scripts you mark, the mark AIM gave, and when. If you pay, the receipt you upload and what was read from it. Which link first brought you to AIM, such as a Threads post, used only to count which posts reach teachers.
Where a script goes
When you mark a script, its text and any photo are sent to an AI provider outside Malaysia to be read and marked. AIM uses OpenRouter and Google Gemini for this. They process it to return the mark; AIM does not permit them to use it to train their models.
What is kept, and why
The text of a marked script, the mark and the corrections are stored on your account, so you can find a script again and rebuild its PDF from any device — that is what the History page shows, and only you can see it. During this beta the same text is also used to check the marking against what a real teacher would have given, which is the only way it improves. This is a change: earlier versions of AIM kept nothing. Photographs are not stored — only the text read from them.
What AIM never does
Your pupils' work is not sold, not shared with anyone else, and not published. Pupils' names are not required — leave the name field blank and nothing identifies the child. Only the person who runs AIM can see stored scripts.
Removing your data
You can delete any marked script yourself, one at a time, from the History page. Deleting your account from the account page removes it, your payment history and every script you have marked immediately — including the copy kept for checking the marking.
